With sadness, Betty passed away on Tuesday 7 October, in Christchurch, Aged 92. Dearly loved wife of the late Donald, loved mother and mother in-law of Murray (deceased), and John & Linda, loving grandmother of Anna & Will, Lee & Peter, and Kate & Ben, loving great-grandmother of her 6 great-grandchildren, beloved sister and sister-in-law of the late Margaret & Jack Lawn, Glady & Darcy Griffith, and Mac Harris, beloved sister-in- law of Hector (deceased) & Jean Sinclair, and the late Andrew & Phyllis Sinclair, Margaret & Pat Findlay, and Betty & Allan Kerr, loved aunt of her nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the nurses and caregivers at Hawthorne and Charles Upham Rest Homes. A Funeral Service to celebrate Betty’s life will be held in the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Tainui Street, Greymouth on Saturday at 1pm followed by burial at the Karoro Lawn Cemetery.
