Passed away peacefully at Reefton Hospital on January 5, 2019, in her 62nd year. Adored and devoted wife of Tony, precious daughter of Mavis and the late Alwyn Johnston, a dearly loved sister and sister-in-law of Mark & Sandra, Wayne & Leanne, Shelley & Curly, Lyall & Lana, and Bruce & Tina, a loved sister-in-law of Christopher & Rene, Stephen & Ge Ling, and Martin, a loved aunty, cousin, and a friend of many. A Funeral Service to celebrate Karen’s life will be held in the Vision Church, Buller Road, Reefton on Saturday at 1 pm followed by cremation here on the Coast at the Westland Crematorium.
