Passed away unexpectedly at her home,
after making her final batch of bees wax candles,
on June 12, 2024, aged 55.
A beloved soul of many, conscious creative and the BEST Mama.
As Lana wished, her life ceremony will be a small private gathering with close connections.
We ask you to light a bees wax candle in honour of your time together, her journey and light.
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I do not die.
I love you the most, Astiana

Lana….goodbye my cool friend, such an unexpected parting….we are all shocked to hear you are no longer part of our lives…..but always will be in our hearts & memory. You were a “one of a kind person”, & will be so missed by your loving Mum (Heather) and other family members.
To you Asti …you live your life so much like your Mum, free as a bird in flight….you will miss her just so much & my love & sympathy to you my special young friend.

Lana, one of my soul sisters, true friend. So so so many good times, laughter. Lynie & Lana Parties – how lucky was I. Our missions west coast side or East coast Christchurch side. To get candle wax supplies or whatever you needed years before. We always got stuff done. The Retreats we did together, BWG we were the laughing buddies, parked down near the gate in my caravan cause we got noisy, even though it was just the two of us, you could hear us or not cause we had over slept ops. Loved our bomb fires, gosh we got some huge ones going at Rutherglen, especially when we dragged the outdoor couches etc down there when your were preparing to move haha. Twiggy loved the video calls going for a trek with you. both. The party boom box vibrating the house beams we had it so loud. Dancing till late shaking our heads, we were super cool. Loved your cooking, home made soups, roasts, platters & cooked breakfasts & chocolate in any order we felt like. All the free range eggs. Learning the process along your path of candle making and discussing it all. Choosing candle moulds with you. I am so so blessed to have had you a big part of my life. Also the 3-5 hour video calls, sorry John laptop batteries flat again. I can also hear Lana saying sorry John about stuff we did, not sorry really. I know its not goodbye cause I will see your signs everywhere, my fluting Annie buddy. Not sure how I will fill my weeks now without you in it. Asti hope we will always keep in touch & close, remember you are your mothers daughter. Love to Heather, Mark & family & friends. Lyn & John from Christchurch.
