Passed away peacefully at Te Nikau Grey Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on July 19, 2024, aged 75.

A Funeral Service to celebrate John’s life will be held in the
William Sampson Memorial Chapel, Tainui Street, on Tuesday the 23rd July 2024 at 1pm.
John will then be laid to rest at the Memorial Park Cemetery, Gladstone.

I remember most your cheeky smile and comments, I tried it with you and you gave me a clip around the ear!! Then immediately told me I was welcome on the farm and was like part of the family, and that never changed over the years. You have earned your rest, find Malcolm and Steve and be together again.
