Passed away peacefully on her 83rd birthday at her home Granger House on September 8, 2018. Deeply loved wife of the late David, loved and cherished mum and mother-in-law of Kay & Brian Clark (Christchurch), Susan & Martin Watson (Cobden), Diane & Les Stratton, and Christine (all Kumara), beloved nana of Glen, Dylan, Aidan, and Sarah, and great nana of Noah, special great aunty of Lisa, and Tracy, great great aunty of Anna, Emily, Evan, and William, special nana of Kristina, loved sister and sister-in-law of George & Jean, Zelda & Brian, Stephen & Pam, and the late Frank, Daphne & Harold Hayes, Thelma & Ted Mc Askill, Dorothy & Jim Martin, and Violet Cox, a loved sister-in-law of the Frizzell family, a loved aunty, cousin, friend and cherished friend of Lee Burnett and the Verhoeven family. A Funeral Service to celebrate Gladys’ life will be held in the William Sampson Memorial Chapel, Tainui Street, Greymouth on Wednesday at 2pm
followed by burial at the Karoro Lawn Cemetery.
