RIP
Rest in Peace, respected work colleague.
So sorry to hear of Kens passing. Our deepest condolences to all his family. We really enjoyed the many conversations had during the times he visited our farm. RIP
RIP Ken. I have a lot of great memories growing up in Greymouth and spending many hours in the Police station while Dad was working over time. You provided many laughs with your stories and dark sense of humour. Mum was always shocked but still laughed when you fired off jokes and what happened to bad guys when captured. I’ll never forget seeing the bruised faces of the local punks the day after the cowards hit dad from behind with a beer bottle on the bridge. You even removed me from Revingtons one night when I was well under age. You, Dad and the rest of the Greymouth Police team were a force to be reckoned with. I hope you see mum and dad up there and keep them amused.
Our dear mate much love always Ken. As Pork would say “you’ve really done it this time”. Jen, Glen and Jon Fitzgerald.
Very sad to hear of Ken’s passing.
So many great memories and laughs from our time spent in Greymouth.
To the old team, Kooze, Crinsy, Sid, Pork, Bags, Jos, Trigger, Robin, Laurie & Alistair absolute legends.
RIP Ken. Wendy, Rachel & Adam Crins.
Lots of great memories for the old raincliff days etc.
Ken, really appreciated your wit, knowledge and humour as a new recruit back in 1985. Looked up to you and Fitzy and crew as stalwarts in the Greymouth Police. Haven’t seen you for many years, but you still bring a smile to my dial when I reminisce on those enjoyable days at the station (especially the bar!).
RIP Ken. Leon & Debs Aarts

Very sorry to hear of Ken’s passing. My first job as a young 17yr old was for the Police and we had some great laughs. Ken could do a great rendition of Billy Connolly. Great Policeman who had no time for idiots – you had to earn his respect. Taken too soon.

It was awesome to be able to say goodbye along side your family, friends and work colleagues on a beautiful West Coast day. gone way too soon Rest Easy Kooze.
