Passed away peacefully at Te Nikau Grey Hospital
surrounded by her loving family on February 26, 2021, aged 93.
Dearly loved wife and soulmate of the late Russell,
loved mother and mother-in-law of Maurice ‘Sam’ & Cora (Balcairn),
and Linda & Harold Simpson (Dobson),
loved nana of Amanda, Curtis & Mel, Daniel & Casey, Craig & Melanie,
Delwyn & Corey, and Kelvin & Joelean,
her great grandchildren and great great grandchildren,
cherished daughter of the late James & Rosie Bourke,
loved sister and sister-in-law of Alan ‘Butch’ (Greymouth), and the late Eileen & Rod Scorgie,
Lucy & Keith Colville, James & Nita, and Trevor,
loved daughter-in-law of the late George & Pearl Eder,
loved sister-in-law of Mervyn & Joan (Australia), Velma & Maurie (deceased) Jordan (Christchurch),
and the late Basil & Una, and Yvonne,
a much loved and treasured aunty, cousin and a friend of many.

A gracious, respected and much loved lady to all that knew her.

A Funeral Service for Evelyn will be held in the
William Sampson Memorial Chapel, Tainui St, Greymouth on Tuesday at 11am
followed by cremation here on the Coast at the Westland Crematorium.
