Passed away peacefully surrounded by family
at Christchurch Public Hospital on March 18, 2021 in his 95th year.
Cherished husband and best friend of Barb for 68 years,
loved dad and father-in-law of Russell & Carol, and Anton & Miriam,
loved ‘Jack’ of Kurt, Charlotte & Riley, Elliot & Shyanne, and Boyd,
proud great grandfather of Hadley,
loved brother and brother-in-law of Glenda & David Pickering, and the late Graham & Ellen,
loved son of the late Ernie & Pearl,
loved brother-in-law of the late Leith & Allan Baxter, and Marg & David Deller,
a loved uncle, cousin and a friend of all.

A life-long resident of the Grey Valley, who was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Barbara and the family are very grateful for the support and kindness
shown to Jack by the nurses at Reefton Medical Centre and the medical staff at Christchurch Public Hospital.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Canterbury West Coast Air Rescue Trust would be appreciated

A Funeral Service celebrating Jack’s life will be held in the Ahaura Hall on Tuesday at 1pm
followed by cremation here on the Coast at the Westland Crematorium.

Parking for the funeral service will be available on the Ahaura Domain.
